FUTURE CONTINUOUS TENSE

Introduction:

In the previous lessons - simple present, simple past, simple future, present continuous and past continuous tenses were explained including prepositions and conjunctions. So, in this lesson Future continuous tense is explained.

Future continuous tense is mostly used in written and spoken English also.


Future continuous tense indicates that something will occur in the future and continue for an expected length of time. 

EXAMPLES  FROM ENGLISH TO HINDI AND TELUGU
 
1. Come fast,  I will be waiting for you.
    जल्दी आओ, मुझे तुम्हारा इंतजार रहेगा।
  త్వరగా రా, నేను నీ కోసం ఎదురు చుస్తూఉంటాను.

2. Tomorrow by this time you will be travelling in train.
     कल तक आप ट्रेन में सफर कर रहे होंगे।
   రేపు ఈ టైంకి  నువ్వు ట్రైన్ లో ప్రయాణం చేస్తూఉంటావు.

3. After eight they will be having dinner.
     आठ के बाद वे रात का भोजन करेंगे।
   ఎనిమిది తర్వాత వాళ్ళు భోజనం చేస్తూవుంటారు.

4.  Next year she will be studying medicine.
     अगले साल वह दवा का अध्ययन करेगी।

   వచ్చే ఏడాది ఆమె మెడిసిన్ చదువుతూ ఉంటుంది.

5.  Next Sunday they will be getting ready for marriage.

      अगले रविवार को वे शादी के लिए तैयार हो रहे होंगे।

6.  I will be writing exam on Friday morning between 9 and 11.

      मैं शुक्रवार सुबह 9 और 11 के बीच परीक्षा लिख ​​रहा हूं।
   శుక్రవారం ఉదయం తొమ్మిది పదకొండు గంటల మధ్య నేను పరీక్ష రాస్తూవుంటాను.  

7.  They will be busy preparing for exam.

      वे परीक्षा की तैयारी में व्यस्त होंगे।
    వాళ్ళు పరీక్షలకు ప్రిపేర్ అవుతూవుంటారు.

8.   Evening I will be watching match on TV.

       शाम को मैं टीवी पर मैच देखूंगा।
    సాయంత్రం నేను టీవిలో మ్యాచ్ చూస్తూవుంటాను.

9.  They will be leaving in twenty minutes.

      वे बीस मिनट में रवाना होंगे।
   వాళ్ళ్ల్లు ఇరవై నిమిషాలలో బయలుదేరుతున్నారు.

      

10.  I will be coming back this week end.

        मैं इस सप्ताह के अंत में वापस आऊंगा।
     ఈ వారం చివరలో నేను తిరిగి రాబోతున్నాను.

  

FUTURE CONTINUOUS TENSE This actress will be acting in three films of different languages. This month he will be preaching in five countries. The doctor will be leaving for America next week. The famous scientist will be receiving awards for his performance.

Conversation

Conversation between friends    (Jessy and Susan)
Jessy:   Today you look pretty. Even you look very happy. What is the reason? May I know?
Susan:  This month we will be celebrating three happy occasions.
Jessy:    Oh! what are those accasions?
Susan:   My sister's marriage is on 16th of this month. We will be celebrating it at least for
                five days.
Jessy:    Another two occasions ?
Susan:   You know the other two accasions.
Jessy:   Oh! I know, your birthday is on  10th and 25th you will be celebrating Christmas.
Susan:  Exactly, you have to come on 10th morning to arrange everything for guests 
              because mom will be busy preparing something in kitchen.
Jessy:    O.K. definitely I will come. How do you celebrate Christmas?
Susan:    This year we will be going out to give gifts to the poor.
                 You can join us if you are interested.
Jessy:     Definitely I will try.
Susan:    Thank you. Come, let us play caroms or chess for some time.
Jessy:      O.k.  come.
